Andy Rosuck, President & CEO

Andy Rosuck, President & CEO, brings more than twenty years of innovative executive experience in hospitality, in the areas of event planning, hotel and program management, and destination marketing. He is an innovator who has worked on events featuring personalities such as Oprah and Michael Jordan, and has held executive positions at many leading brands and properties in the hospitality industry. Rosuck earned a B.S. in Business with a specialization in Hotel and Tourism Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He lives in Coral Springs, Florida, with his wife and three children, and has been active in numerous civic and industry organizations.

Alvin Young, Senior Account Executive

Alvin Young, Senior Account Executive, began his career in the Destination Management industry in 1991 in Washington , DC .  While there he organized logistics and transportation for several Presidential Inaugurals, World Cup Soccer Events, city-wide events and incentive programs.  Alvin has also managed corporate events for the 1997 Super Bowl in New Orleans and AT&T Pro-Am in Monterey in 2002.  In 2001 Alvin relocated to South Florida and has become an invaluable asset to his clients and GEP.

Marlene Jacoby, Account Executive

Marlene Jacoby, Account Executive, comes to GEP with over 20 years of experience and a diverse background in the hospitality industry giving her great insight to the needs of the meeting planner.   She has held various roles within the industry which include meeting planning for a major South Florida corporation, director of sales for an international and local destination management company and most recently as national sales manager for the Atlantis Resort located on Paradise Island, Bahamas.  Through her knowledge, passion and commitment to the industry, Marlene is always seeking creative ways to achieve high quality programs and meetings for her clients.

Vanessa Ferrara, Director of Operations

Joining GEP South Florida in 2006, Vanessa comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry. She has had the opportunity to coordinate, produce and manage programs for clients such as Bank of America, American Express, and Alcon Laboratories with events ranging from local fundraising races to full hospitality and tour programs for the Sony Ericsson Open. Vanessa works tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of our clients’ programs are carefully planned and flawlessly executed. Her attention-to-detail is one of the reasons that GEP South Florida can offer our customers a No Surprises Commitment on every program that we deliver.

Jennifer Hohenberg, Operations Manager

Jennifer Hohenberg has been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and comes to us from the Virgin Islands.  There, she honed her skills while working for a local DMC, performing dock operations for the largest cruise ship tour company in the area, and acting as a chef on various private and charter yachts.  Prior to the Virgin Islands, she owned and operated her own restaurant.  Jennifer has managed groups from 25 to over 2000 people.  All of her experiences blend together to make her a tremendous asset to the GEP family.

Serena Ghering, Product Development Coordinator

Serena Ghering began her event planning career at a small public relations firm in Miami. While there, she worked with one of the most popular restaurant chains in South Florida and oversaw grand openings of new stores in Central Florida and New Jersey. She also assisted several non-profit organizations through a series of fundraising events. Serena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Penn State University, but making the move into the DMC world was a natural step for her. She has a true passion for planning and loves putting her creativity to work for the GEP South Florida clients.

Andrea Albert, Product Development Coordinator

Andrea began her career in the hospitality industry as an Event Coordinator for an international event design firm based out of West Palm Beach, FL. Since 2005, she has had the opportunity to produce a wide variety of events ranging from fund-raising galas, corporate sales meetings and product launches to weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and outdoor festivals. She has traveled across the country and the US Virgin Islands, building up her expertise in the special events field. Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Florida with a specialization in Event Management. Her attention to detail, creativity and passion for event planning make her a natural fit for the GEP South Florida team.

Olga Fuentes, Office Manager

Olga Fuentes accentuates our team as Office Manager.  With a strong corporate accounting and business management background, Olga comes to us from a diverse background in the areas of database administration, commercial real estate appraising, IT and medical group practice including medical research and diagnostics. Combining her innovative skills, knowledge and technology with her broad background and 20 plus years of experience she is taking the administrative management area of our office to a standard of business operations as extraordinary as the events GEP South Florida plans.
